Door-by-door fire door surveys and location-referenced fire stopping surveys — digital, photographed, traceable. The proof your Fire Risk Assessment, Regulation 10 regime and golden thread actually need.
Fire door surveys and fire stopping surveys are different disciplines, and we treat them that way — each scoped, priced and reported in its own right. No bundling, no padding: you instruct exactly the survey your FRA action or compliance regime calls for.
Every fire door individually inspected to BS 8214 principles and FDIS methodology. No sampling, no guesswork.
Compartmentation inspected where it actually fails — above ceilings, in risers and around services — recorded so works can be priced and verified.
No discovery calls, no sales visits — a fixed price the same working day, then a survey that turns straight into actions.
Tell us the building and rough door count. Fixed price confirmed the same working day.
Every door inspected — around 20 a day per surveyor — recorded live on Onetrace with photos at each inspection point.
Doorset register, photographic evidence and a prioritised, priceable remedial schedule — in days, not weeks.
Optional: works priced and delivered through our BM TRADA Q-Mark certificated partner — or take the report to any contractor.
Five places fire separation quietly fails in almost every building we visit.
Oversized gaps, missing or painted-over intumescent seals, broken closers, non-fire-rated hinges and unlabelled leaves. The single most common failure point in any building — and the one Regulation 10 makes you check.
Covered by: Fire door surveyEvery door and every breach individually inspected, referenced and photographed — then turned into actions, not observations.
Every door and defect is recorded on Onetrace — the fire industry's traceability platform — as we survey, not written up later from memory. Your records export to PDF and Excel, drop into your CAFM system, and build a re-inspection history over time.
Surveys led by FDIS-trained, DipFD-qualified inspectors — not labourers with a checklist.
Every judgement anchored to the British Standard for timber fire door assemblies.
Remedial and replacement works delivered through our Q-Mark certificated partner — installation (052) and maintenance (058) schemes.
Digital, photographic, exportable evidence on the platform built for passive fire protection.
Four pieces of law and standards drive fire door and compartmentation duty in England. Here's what each one actually asks of you.
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order makes a named Responsible Person legally accountable, and Article 17 requires fire doors and compartmentation to be kept in efficient working order and good repair.
In residential buildings over 11m, Responsible Persons must check communal fire doors quarterly and flat entrance doors annually, and keep records of the checks.
Higher-risk buildings must hold a golden thread of building safety information — accurate, up-to-date, digitally stored asset data, including fire doors.
The British Standards covering timber fire door assemblies and fire safety in building design, use and management — the technical benchmarks any credible survey judgement is anchored to.
A sample of recent instructions — every one surveyed door-by-door and delivered with a full register.
Slide to your approximate door count. We'll show what to expect — and confirm a fixed price the same working day you enquire.
Fire stopping surveys are scoped by floor area and risers — tell us the building and we'll size it for you.Plenty of people will walk your building. The difference is what you're holding afterwards.
